4/30/15: Uptown Poets
Come celebrate the NEW Book Culture on Columbus and hear five fabulous "uptown poets," in honor of National Poetry Month.
Miranda Field was born and raised in the UK, but has lived on the Upper West Side for many years. Her first collection, SWALLOW, won a Katherine Bakeless Nason Literary publication Award. Her second collection is forthcoming from Four Way Books.
Honor Moore’s most recent collection of poems is “Red Shoes”; her most recent book, “The Bishop’s Daughter,” a memoir.
Victoria Redel's most recent collection of poems is "Woman Without Umbrella", (Four Way Books) her most recent collection of short fiction is "Make Me Do Things."
John Reed is the author of the many novels, including Snowball's Chance and Tales of Woe. He is published widely, including: the PEN Poetry Series, the Los Angeles Times, the Paris Review, Bomb Magazine, and the Believer.

Leah Umansky is a poet, collagist and teacher in New York City. She is the author of the Mad-Men inspired chapbook, Don Dreams and I Dream, and the full-length collection Domestic Uncertainties. A pop culture addict, three of her Game of Thrones inspired poems have recently been translated into Norwegian by Beijing Trondheim
